RDR makes NASA History with Live In-car Broadcast
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif., August 3, 2009 -- Robert Davis Racing (RDR) completed another successful NASA weekend, this time making history by broadcasting three races live, via the web. Team Web, Master Michael Garant used new tools to broadcast the team’s performance around the world, with over 2,500 live viewers, and as many as 900 during the Spec Miata race. The team welcomed new drivers Randy Miller and Mike Allen, both rookies performing well in Performance Touring classes. Jeremy Barnes bounced back from a Saturday flat tire to capture his first Spec Miata pole Sunday. Robert Davis dusted off his driving shoes, to sweep the PTD field after a few months out of the car, not bad for an old guy.
