FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 14, 2018

The big news--Hannah has been invited to the 2018 Mazda Road to the 24 Shootout, making her one of only 12 drivers nationwide to receive this highly sought after opportunity. She and her team are busy putting together the video and written documentation to show she has what it takes to be a professional driver, not only on but also off the track.

The group of 12 will be pared down over the next couple weeks, with four finalists then traveling to Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona, for an intensive on and off track selection process in early December. The most outstanding candidate will win a scholarship to compete in the 2019 Battery Tender Global MX-5 Cup, a professional series that travels across the United States and is sanctioned by IndyCar. The award, part of the Mazda ladder system, is valued at $100,000.

Hannah also recently competed in the Toyo Tires Classic, the feature race at the NASA National Championships on the 3.4 mile F1 road course at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin Texas. With over 80 competitors from across the country, Hannah took 17th overall and in the process earned herself a Teen Mazda Challenge (TMC) podium.

Hannah finished out her 2018 NASA So-Cal season taking second in the championship, and being on the podium every race entered except for two with minor mechanical issues. Hannah would like to thank the wonderful officials and competitors at NASA So-Cal for another great year and all the new memories.

Hannah is also very excited to announce she has partnered with The City of Hope to bring awareness to and support this world class, not-for-profit research, treatment and teaching hospital's efforts to eradicate cancer and other deadly diseases in children and adults.

Hannah will campaign the 2019 NASA season under the Mothers/Robert Davis Racing tent, known for both the finest polishes, waxes and cleaners and also the highest levels of competition and professionalism.

In addition Hannah is now a brand ambassador for Global Electronic Technology, a leading global provider of transaction processing, and Racepak, the new cutting edge of data acquisition and analysis systems.

Hannah, of course, would also like to thank Winners Circle Sports Marketing, Chiropractic Health Care Center, the Women’s Sports Foundation and the Women in Motorsports Project Podium Grant, and SGV Tire for all the support they have given her.

The final bit of news is that Hannah's Morning Star Racing Spec Miata is now sporting the number 787 and livery in tribute to the 1991 Le Mans winning Renown Mazda prototype and Mazda's long commitment enrich and push the limits of what a car, drivers, and motorsports can be.
